Setting choices

From the research of films, we have decided that our filming will be set in an old large creepy house, this will be good to create the sense of horror that this scene in our film entails.  By using the a variety of terror techniques for lighting and mise en scene we can create a good amount of anxiety in the titles and maybe even create an early on fright to the film. We have planned to film the background and setting at night and use the natural darkness to create a sense of unknown which will then give us opportunities to hide props and other features in the dark that we can use in different close up shots during the filming, it will make these props seem more sinister than before. We will then use a green screen to merge all our filming together.
